BAHAMAS – This summer, we’re inviting Lake Forest adults and teenagers to join us on a mission trip to Abaco Bahamas, in partnership with the Carribean Youth Network, to help host a youth/teen Vacation Bible School style event, support youth ministry and sports outreach, and potentially take part in some light construction, painting, and food distribution work.
This trip is open to adults as well as 7th-12th graders with an accompanying guardian.
Trip dates: June 14-19, 2025 (5 days)
Cost: $1500
SPAIN – This Summer we are traveling to Málaga, Spain to support and resource local missionaries to put on a Teen English Camp for the community. We hope to reach at least 50 teens, many from non-Christian backgrounds, who would like to grow in their English speaking skills. The English camp will be a tool to break into a spiritually indifferent culture and develop relationships resulting in opportunities to share the love of Christ with parents and teens. (PS – You don’t need to speak Spanish to go on this trip!)
This trip is open to adults, college students, and high schoolers age 16+
Trip dates: June 26 – July 6, 2025 (11 days)
Approximate Trip cost: $880 + airfare (flight prices TBD, but flights will be booked by the church at a fixed cost on behalf of the team). We will take the whole team through support raising training and will work to raise the funds necessary together.
**If you have a younger teen, we may be able to accept them, if they are accompanied by a parent and if you are interested in volunteering for the children’s camp, rather than the teen camp (both camps are held simultaneously).
