Because of this, we need to understand what prayer really is, why we do it, how do we do it and what happens when we pray. Prayer helps us recognize and experience our mysterious invisible yet very powerful union with God. There is no “one size fits all” for prayer, and we do it a vast injustice when we limit our prayer life to only one kind.
